The Vako Eanos 82.5 m³ is a TSI-approved, 4-axle high-sided wagon (Eanos type) for transporting scrap iron and other bulk goods. With a loading volume of 82.5 m³ and a loading area of approx. 39.4 m², the wagon is designed for high-volume bulk goods transport. With an axle load of 22.5 t, it offers a payload of approx. 63.7 t (tare weight 26.3 t ± 2%) and is suitable for international use in accordance with TEN GE (gauge 1,435 mm, clearance profile G1, climate condition T1). In S-braking mode, the wagon reaches 100 km/h when loaded and 120 km/h when empty. The wagon is based on a welded subframe made of S355J2+N (manufactured in accordance with EN 15085), with components made of S235J2+N. It runs on 2× Y25Lsd-K (H-frame) bogies with WM10 weighing valves (wheel diameter 920 mm); 25-ton wheel sets are available as an option. The classic braking system is designed as Knorr KE-GP-A(K) (including KEdv distributor, K composite brake shoes C810). Hardox 450 floor plates (8 mm) and high-strength side/end wall constructions (including S550MC box plates, specified in the exposé) are provided for high robustness in scrap and bulk applications. Corrosion protection, paint structure, and labeling are carried out in accordance with standards (e.g., Sa 2.5, 2K EP/2K PUR, UIC 438-2); quality documentation including traceability is available, and third-party inspection can be implemented on request.
