Further information about this vehicle type

The Facns 55 m³ is a TSI-approved, 4-axle open bulk goods wagon for transporting bulk goods that do not need to be kept dry. With a loading volume of 55.0 m³, a payload of approx. 68 t and an axle load of 22.5 t (unladen weight approx. 22.0 t), it is suitable for high-performance transport on the European network (TEN GE, track gauge 1,435 mm, clearance profile G1). The wagon is designed for climate conditions T3 (-25 °C to +45 °C) and reaches a maximum speed of 100 km/h in braking regime S. The wagon has a welded subframe made of S355J2+N (manufactured in accordance with EN 15085) and a bunker made of 1.4003 chrome steel. The running gear consists of 2× Y25Ls(s)d1-K bogies (wheel diameter 920 mm) including WM10 weighing valves; 25-ton wheel sets are available as an option. The brake is designed as a classic system with Knorr-Bremse KE-GP-A(K) (KEf distributor, K composite brake shoes) and a two-stage, pneumatic load-dependent brake. Towing and buffing devices are dimensioned according to EN standards (e.g., towing device 1,500 kN Miner, buffer cat. A 105 mm, 35 kJ). Corrosion protection and labeling are carried out in accordance with standards (including sandblasting Sa 2.5, 2K EP/2K PUR system, marking according to UIC 438-2); quality and traceability documents are available via production control.
