The Rens 4-axle flat wagon (overall length 19.9 m) is a TSI-approved universal wagon for transporting long and piece goods such as pallets, crates, rails/rail fields, and concrete sleepers. With an axle load of 22.5 t, a payload of approx. 65 t, and TEN GE certification, it is designed for international use and meets the relevant TSI/EN/UIC requirements (classification F-I according to EN 12663). The wagon has a robust, welded underframe made of S355J2+N (manufactured in accordance with EN 15085), 2× Y25Lsd-K bogies (wheel Ø 920 mm) with WM10 weighing valves and a classic braking system with Knorr-Bremse KE-GP-A(K) (Regime S, 100 km/h loaded; empty up to 120 km/h). The loading area measures 18,500 mm by 2,640 mm (approx. 49 m²) and is equipped with a 45 mm oak wood floor; in addition, 16 articulated stanchions (height 2,534 mm) are available for securing loads. Pre-equipment for power/data cables and EP brakes is provided for modern retrofitting; GPS holders, standard-compliant towing/buffering devices, and defined corrosion protection (Sa 2.5, 2K EP/2K PUR) are also included.
