The Vako Sgnss 60' is a TSI-approved, 4-axle container carrier wagon (flat wagon) for intermodal transport. It is designed for 10', 20', 30', 40' and 45' containers as well as swap bodies (UIC/ISO-compliant) and has a payload of approx. 71.1 t with an axle load of 22.5 t, a tare weight of 18.9 t (±2%) and a total weight of 90 t. With TEN GE marking, G1 clearance gauge, 1,435 mm gauge, overall length 19,740 mm, loading length 18,400 mm, and loading height 1,155 mm, the wagon is suitable for use throughout Europe; S and SS braking regimes (in the exposé: SS regime) and speeds of up to 120 km/h when empty or loaded. The wagon is constructed from a welded subframe made of S355J2+N (manufactured in accordance with EN 15085) and runs on 2× Y25Ls(s)d1-K bogies (wheel diameter 920 mm) with WM10 weighing valves; 25-ton wheel sets are available as an option. The classic braking system is a Knorr KE-GP-A(K) with KEf distributor and K composite brake shoes (e.g., Jurid 816M). For load securing, there are 28 foldable ISO container pins and 2 foldable handles in accordance with UIC 535-2; in addition, standard-compliant draw/impact devices (including 1,500 kN) and Cat. A 105 mm / 35 kJ buffers are installed. Corrosion protection and labeling are standard-compliant (Sa 2.5, 2K EP/2K PUR, UIC 438-2); quality and traceability documentation is provided, with third-party inspection optional.
