The Vako Sgmmns(s) 45' is a TSI-approved, 4-axle container carrier (flat car) for intermodal transport. It is designed for transporting 20', 40' and 45' containers as well as swap bodies in accordance with UIC/ISO and offers a payload of approx. 72.3 t with an axle load of 22.5 t (unladen weight 17.7 t ±2%, total loaded weight 90 t). With TEN GE marking, G1 clearance gauge, and T3 climate condition, the car is suitable for use throughout Europe; the design is intended for S or SS braking regimes. The overall length is 15,005 mm, the loading length is 13,765 mm, and the loading height is 1,155 mm. The design of the wagon is based on a welded subframe made of S355J2+N (manufactured in accordance with EN 15085) and runs on 2× Y25Ls(s)d1-K bogies with WM10 weighing valves (wheel diameter 920 mm, optional 25-ton wheel sets). The classic braking system is a Knorr KE-GP-A(K) with KEf distributor and K composite brake shoes (Jurid 816M). Eight container pins (four foldable, four fixed) and two foldable handles in accordance with UIC 535-2 are provided for container loading. Draw gear and buffers are dimensioned in accordance with standards. Corrosion protection and labeling are standard-compliant (including Sa 2.5, 2K EP/2K PUR, UIC 438-2); quality and traceability documentation is available, and third-party inspection is optional.
