The MaK G 322 “220 123” is a compact diesel-hydraulic locomotive designed for light and medium shunting operations as well as light transfer services. The G 322 was developed by Maschinenbau Kiel (MaK) as part of its third locomotive programme. A total of 25 locomotives of this type were built between 1996 and 1998 for the Danish State Railways (DSB), where they operated as the DSB MK (II) series under fleet numbers MK 601 to MK 625. Following the takeover of MaK by Vossloh, the design was continued in largely unchanged form as the G 400 B. The G 322 locomotive no. 220 123 offered here was built in 1996 and has a rated power output of 390 kW and a service weight of 40 tonnes. The two-axle locomotive reaches a maximum speed of 60 km/h and is powered by an MTU 8V 183 TD 13 diesel engine with hydraulic transmission. Its compact design, remote-control capability and dedicated shunting equipment make the G 322 particularly suitable for operations at industrial sites, ports, freight terminals, private sidings and railway yards. The series was specifically designed for shunting duties and features equipment including radio remote control and automatic shunting couplers. Locomotive 220 123 is equipped with an RK 900 shunting coupler and radio remote control. Additional equipment includes Webasto and an air dryer. Both the engine and transmission were overhauled in February 2012 at approximately 36,000 operating hours. According to the current sales documentation, the locomotive has accumulated approximately 47,000 operating hours and 288,000 kilometres. Its most recent major inspection (HU) is stated as 7 May 2019. The locomotive is currently leased and in active operation, meaning that its operating hours and mileage may continue to increase. According to the sales exposé, the locomotive has approvals for Germany (BOA Schleswig-Holstein, North Rhine-Westphalia and Hamburg), Denmark and Sweden.
